oxide dispersed on high surface anatase titania is a well known catalyst for
reducing harmful NO gasses to N2
through the selective catalytic reduction using ammonia as the reductant.
In an ongoing research project we are analysing the anatase
surface structure and the coordination
of vanadium, ammonia and other SCR relevant species at the catalyst operating conditions.
Raman and UV/Vis spectroscopy to analyse the surface vanadium species
dispersed on an anatase
carrier at the catalytic working conditions. The analysis
will be conducted with varying vanadium load.
