absorption is often the dominant melt energy source for snow and ice on land,
glaciers, sea, and lakes. Snow and ice melt feedbacks play a role in Arctic
amplification of climate warming.
This project is to evaluate the 2017 and 2018
seasonal variations in Greenland snow optical properties using imagery from the
Copernicus ESA Sentinel-3 A and B satellite platforms.
The work involves the
use of a scientific programming language, e.g. Matlab or IDL and may benefit
