The DTU Internship and Project Bank is a match making website for companies, organizations, DTU students, and DTU supervisors. This is where you find each other. You can either add a posting or search in other people's postings.
Before creating a posting, you need to decide which type of collaboration you are interested in.
Projects
Projects can be carried out by all DTU students. First you provide a description of your project, which can subsequently be adjusted together with the student. Projects can last between three weeks and five month and are generally unpaid.
There are many types of projects at DTU, so there is plenty of scope for collaborating with students. Projects can be either long-term or short-term and take place during one or more periods in the academic year.
See DTU students' annual cycle
Some students want to carry out the projects in a real-life context. They are the ones that your project description should be targeted at.
Internships
Internships are for BEng students. In the final part of their programme, the students spend one semester doing an internship in a public or private company. The internship is unpaid and lasts for 20 weeks, corresponding to 100 working days.
BEng is a 3½-year programme which includes a five-month compulsory internship in a company or an organization. During the internship, the student must acquire a thorough understanding of the working conditions in a company and of the target market. The internship is normally paid. MSc Eng students do not do internships.
