Recycling of bioplastics - Opportunities limitations barriers

Bioplastic is an umbrella term, where 'bio' can refer to three distinguished aspect of bioplastic:
- plastic is produced from biomass-based raw materials
- plastic production involves biological processes
- plastic is biologically degradable.
Production of bioplastics is steadily increasing, nad is expected to cover a significant market share over the coming decades.
The project will look into opportunities and limitations for bioplastic recyling. This is done based on literature review and techno-economic analysis of potential options.
