Deep learning for acoustic scene classification (ASC) aims to classify different acoustic environments by use of e.g. neural networks and is an active field of research showing promising results. ASC technology can potentially help a hearing aid user towards a more personalized treatment. This project is about closing some of the gaps between academic research and applying this technology to make a life-changing difference to hearing impaired people. See enclosed description.
