Future PCM heat storage for solar energy system

Phase Change Materials (PCM) can be used in solar heating system and in future energy systems for peak shaving of high energy consumption and load shifting heating demands. There is a need for further investigating the characteristic for various PCMs to identify the most suitable materials.

In this project, you can experimentally investigate material properties of PCMs based on salthydrates. The project will include experimental work in the laboratory.

The focus is on research and will be driven by your intrest in the topic and under our supervision. The work may result in a scientific publication.
