Can threatened European eel help controlling the invasive round goby

Work intimately with a threatened fish and its interaction with an invasive species. The study will focus on the diet composition in eels from coastal areas with round goby, compared with the diet of eels caught in areas with no round gobies.

The work to be done will give experience with state of the art methodologies in fisheries science and have implication for the management of fish and fisheries.
