VulCur-MedTech seeks students with an interest in an internship at a startup that develops medical devices. The internship is with respect to an under-grad project-based or master-thesis course.

Your contribution will consist of supporting the software development of our device for the treatment of chronic wounds in the following areas:

Our design incorporates piezo-electro and -mechanically controlled devices from PI, Newport, AeroTech and ThorLabs. These all use different proprietary firmware and need to be controlled and position values need to be accessed for calibration use.

The position values need to be evaluated and the data needs to be translated into a useful form for use in the calibration process.

The second stage of the project is to design a software-shell for controlling the firmware for ease-of-use and automation of the calibration process.

It is not required that you can solve all these tasks single-handedly.

The work will contribute significantly to achieving our goals and will give you a unique experience of being part of a startup.

You will be thoroughly introduced to the company and the specific tasks.

Working hours are flexible in relation to the requirements of your education. The workplace is at KU SUND Hub in De Gamles By in Nørrebro.

The project-oriented course is unpaid and start-up will be as soon as possible. You become a colleague with four other committed and passionate people who are passionate about entrepreneurship and the vision of healing chronic wounds.

There will be the opportunity to participate in SUND Hub's workshops for interns in startups and learn about entrepreneurship in practice.

Questions and applications can be directed to Steen Millinder sm@vulcurmedtech.com or (+45) 28443617

We keep recruitment interviews on an ongoing basis so feel free to send an application and CV.
