Single use or reuseable textiles in the medical sector

Greater Copenhagen area

The Borch Textile group is making textiles for the service and medical industries (uniforms, linens etc.). They have in the later years seen a shift from reusable textiles to single use textiles. They have a feeling this is a less sustainable practice which is why they would like an environmental assessment of this practice.

The objective of the project is therefore to compare these two types of services offered including production, use and end-of-life of the materials.

Borch Textile Group and De Forenede Dampvaskerier will be involved in the project to supply data and information as needed.
