Projects are offered within the research and development areas in the R&D group at Weibel Scientific. The areas cover all aspects of the radar system and include system design, signal processing and target tracking, antenna design, microwave circuits and components, electronics for signal conditioning, acquisition and processing, power supplies and mechanical solutions and components.

Signal processing projects may focus on any step from the synthetic beamforming and initial target detection to the complex multitarget object tracking algorithms. The detection environment is often far from the ideal “white noise” background, which leads to the challenge of separating the target signal return from the clutter and interference signals from other sources. The project may range from a theoretical to an experimental approach offering a wide range of opportunities to demonstrate your programming skills and your ability to use real radar data to demonstrate the value of the solution.
