Energibesparelser af færøske bygninger

Færøerne vil lægge om til 100% vedvarende energi, og det er muligt, da der er meget nedbør og vind - men ikke om sommeren.

En omlægning af opvarmningen af bygninger fra olie til eldrevne varmepumper kræver store mængder el om sommeren, og derved behov for sæsonlagring af el, tidevandskraft og/eller solceller. Et nyt oliekraftværk vil blive taget i brug for at klare efterspørgslen indtil de andre teknologier er på plads.

Hvis man dog kan mindske energiforbruget om sommeren, så kan man væsentligt reducere investeringsbehovet til denne elforsyning om.

Der er udført meget lidt arbejde med at analysere, hvordan man bedst sparer energi til opvarmning, og der har vist sig problemer med fugt mv. mange steder. Der kan derfor formuleres mange interessante og relevante projekter inden for emnet.

Arbejdet vil ske i samarbejde med Færøernes Universitet og forventeligt andre.

Requirements

Den eller de skal kende til færøske forhold og kunne forstå færøsk, samt have kendskab til byggeri og gerne energiteknologi.
