Membranes are operated in many different applications which requires a
range of different chemical cleaning agents and operational conditions.
Furthermore, various industries focus on different membrane properties which
makes it complicated to determine a universal life time expectancy.
project seeks to find a suitable procedure to determine life time expectancy on a number of
selected chemicals and operational conditions.
The project is in collaboration with Cembrane. Cembrane
is an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), that is based in the Copenhagen
area and founded in 2014. The company produces high flux, ceramic flat sheet
membranes for use in the water treatment industry.
