Interessante karbon nanomaterialer kan fremstilles ved pyrolyse af biomaterialer. Møllerup Gods har en stor produktion af hampeplanter og er interesserede i at anvende hele planten til nyttige produkter.

Vi arbejder sammen med Møllerup Gods på at udvikle metoder til at opnå specielle karbon nanomaterialer fra hampebast. Ved pyrolyse er det muligt at fremstille høj-overflade, grafen-lignende materialer. Projektet består i at udvikle og optimere pyrolysemetoder samt karakterisere nanokarbonmaterialerne ved f.eks. overfladeanalyse, spektroskopi og elektrokemiske metoder.

Projektets eksperimentelle aktiviteter vil foregå på Risø Campus. Send gerne mail til pnor@dtu.dk for at høre nærmere om projektet.
