Controlling degradability of polymer particles

A project is offered in collaboration with an industrial partner, who is interested in controlling degradability of polymers used in nature.

The project should investigate the current state-of-the-art in particle degradation and ultimately map possibilities for controlling how the currenlty used polymer material is degraded.

The project can either include synthetic investigations of structural variations and their impact on stability or have a more formulation based approach. In addition, also the degradation of prepared materials should be investigated, possibly in collaboration with environmental engineering.
