Background:

New technologies to combat antibiotic resistant bacteria is needed to avoid their spread

Objective:

•Isolate and characterize viruses (phages) that specifically infect bacteria that are likely to transfer resistance genes because of the plasmid type they carry
•verify their efficiency in microbial community

What will you learn:

Phage isolation, Gene transfer assays, flow cytometry
